IMC Launches New Website

Upgrade Intended to Better Communicate the Mission and Site Features

NEW YORK CITY (October 1, 2012) - The Interactive Media Council is pleased to announce the launch of their new website.

The purpose of this upgrade is to improve communication with members and other site visitors, clearly convey the IMC mission, and set a strong foundation for growth.

We want to engage more with our members and deliver a more useful and appealing website, said Michael Benjamin, founder and CEO of IMC. We set out to enhance the site in several key areas — such as content quality, usability and visual design — while remaining focused on our bedrock principles of minimalism, elegance, standards compliance and accessibility.

A new feature is the member profile page, which showcases IMC members, who serve as judges for the IMA awards. This feature will enable award participants and site visitors to get to know the judges better.

The new IMC site was built using HTML5 and CSS3 technologies. A priority was placed on the HTML layer in order to guarantee access by the most people, regardless of disability, browser or device. For more details about the new site's accessibility features see our accessibility statement.
