Laurence Smink

Laurence Smink is an award winning creative director, art director and designer, with 15 years experience creating and implementing innovative digital work for a wide variety of clients. He was educated at one of Canada's leading art and design schools, the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary.

As a creative leader Laurence has built and managed teams of art directors, designers, writers, and producers. His work has been recognized with a number of awards including the Interactive Media Awards, Applied Arts and International Association of Business Communicators. Laurence has written feature articles for major publications. He has been a guest lecturer for design and marketing graduate and undergraduate students at universities and colleges in Canada. He holds a professional designation from the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada and is a supporting member of the AIGA.

Laurence is a lifelong student of design, marketing and branding, with particular focus on digital communications technologies. His long history working in digital media has led to pioneering projects in marketing, interface design and user experience. He has been fortunate to work with a wide variety of clients including well-known brands like Sony Rewards, Bristol Myers Squibb, Allstate, Ubisoft, Harrah's Casinos, General Motors, Exxon/Imperial and many other great organizations.
